  I have a 03 Mustang Cobra Convertible with modified exhaust. I bought 2 rolls of 25 Sq Ft x 80 mil thick FatMat. This covered front floorboards entire trunk including spare tire area and rear seat sides and drive train hump. After installing the cabin noise has been greatly reduced and my music sounds clear. I can tell a big difference it is worth the money and time. This product is very to cut and install with the razor knife included in the kit. The roller helped some but it broke on me so I used a deep well socket to smooth out wrinkles.
  Tips when installing
  1. Cut in 3" to 4" strips. Don't be afraid to use several pieces to cover one area, it makes it so much easier to install. I used a T square to make sure I cut straight lines measured for the area I was covering.
  2. Also I recommend unrolling the sheets so they can flatten out.
  3. Prior to cutting keep sheets in area that is 70 to 80 degrees it makes it easier to cut. If the sheets get too hot the backing gets sticky and causes the razor knife to get sticky which results in difficulty in cutting.

  Bought the FatMat after looking at some of the competitors. Price was reasonable but wouldn't get less than the 80 mil if you are serious about outcome. Installation pretty straight forward and results were very satisfactory. Only thing I would do different is get more of it as I have two other vehicles undergoing restoration and it really does a nice job.

  Awesome stuff! Smell of adhesive dissipates quickly. Easy install! FYI, cut into strips to install over bumps and in grooves.. I covered my spare tire spot in my 05 forester to allow me to put an aftermarket jack, some tools, emergency stuff, etc in that spot. I moved my spare tire to my roof in my Yakima MegaWarrior rack and tire tie down. Now my pups (2x 100# cows :) ) have the room they need and no rattles or shaking from the tools and is way more quiet with my new header and cat-back exhaust! Highly recommended!

  This stuff was awesome, really thick and HEAVY! could tell this was a quality product. The included razor blade worked perfectly and cut through this stuff like butter. Roller was a help too at smoothing it all out. And this stuff is crazy sticky too, I don't see this ever coming off my car. I used it to coat the inside of my trunk compartment and lid since I have two subwoofers in there, sounds amazing, limited rattle.

  Product arrived fast, as stated, and in good boxing. Rattle Trap is thick, sticky, and cheap. Will use XX for all future installs. AND it cuts really clean with the provided knife.
