  This compass has been a life saver for my directionally challenged self. There have been many times I have wondered which direction I was going and this provides the answer every time. It mounts easily to my dashboard and is always accurate.
  Considering the bargain price, I am very happy with my "poor man's GPS".

  My husband has been looking for a small compass for our car. The Bell compass is much better than the one he is replacing. Very accurate. The one little flaw is that it drops down and he has had to prop it up.

  This compass works great, as long as you position it away from metal objects (just like any compass). Don't listen to the negative reviews from people who mounted the compass near their metal roof, hood, post, or rearview mirror. Obviously they don't know how compasses or magnetic fields work and by mounting the compass near a metal object they make it always face the same way. This is a beginner mistake and it will make ANY compass fail.
